Trauma comes in many sizes and forms. Often, people refer to them as big T traumas and little t traumas. Big T’s are usually impactful events that happen once or maybe just a few times. Little t’s are smaller, every day, bad things that happen over and over and over.  Understanding our trauma is the first step in learning to cope with our adverse experiences. This is where the ACES comes in. Adverse Childhood Experiences have been linked to mental and physical health problems throughout the life cycle.  In this workbook, you will learn about the ten different ACEs, their signs and symptoms, and how they could negatively impact people.  A reflection journal includes prompts for each ACE and a few bonus pages.
